APS Student Chromebook Scheme
We are very proud to be able to offer all of our pupils from Year 3 to Year 6 a Google Chromebook of their own to take home. The Chromebooks offer the children a fantastic opportunity to fully access their learning so that they can learn remotely and support home/school learning. We do expect pupils to bring their Chromebook into school to support learning in school / blended learning;
This website has many important aspects to support parents and pupils in using the Chromebooks at home. It also details information on how to navigate the features of the Chromebook and use Seesaw.
Important documents include:
Distance and Blended Learning Policy
Home Learning Parent Summary
Getting to know your Chromebook

WE DO ASK THAT A LOAN AGREEMENT IS COMPLETED BY PARENTS BEFORE ANY EQUIPMENT IS GIVEN TO PUPILS TO USE AT HOME.
The right piece of kit
Having access to the latest technology when and where they need it gives students the very best chance of success in and beyond the classroom. But, for parents, making that investment can be a struggle and the equipment they choose may not always be in line with the schools existing systems and infrastructure. A Welsh Government initiative has enabled us to support our pupils and families effectively and ensure we have up to date equipment.
